Holiday Gift Guide
It’s THAT time of year where we are starting to shop for those we love. So, I created a fun little gift guide to help spark some ideas for your shopping. I think it's fair to say money is a stressor for most of us these days so while some of these items have a large price-tag, I made sure to include some budget-friendly gift ideas as well. Remember: it's wonderful to be generous and appreciate the joy of gift giving, but Christmas shouldn't put you under an avalanche of debt. As cheesy as it sounds, your presence is the greatest present of all!
If you are looking for the best gift to get your gal pals, sister, or the leading lady in your life I’ve got you covered. From CBD bath bombs to must-have wardrobe staples, to the ice roller she didn’t know she needed… I’ve rounded up my top 8 holiday gifts and ideas to get all the special women in your life. And maybe even yourself!
1) The Stanley Tumbler — is Stanley the new Yeti? I’d like to think so. The silicone finish is 🤌🏽 stylish, sophisticated, and a velvety feel. Yet it’s dishwasher safe! It keeps drinks just as cold as the Yeti, holds twice as much, and has a “FlowState™” lid, featuring a rotating cover with three positions: a straw opening designed to resist splashes with a seal that holds the reusable straw in place, a drink opening, and a full-cover top for added leak resistance. Not to mention a HANDLE (perfect for a gal who always has a million things in her hands 🙋🏻♀️) AND a narrow base to fit in your car cup holder. Okay I’m done playing salesman but those are my favourite features. A little pricey for a cup but something she isn’t likely to ball out and buy herself so it’s the perfect gift IMO!
2) “Sweary” Candles — who doesn’t love a new scent? Plus, it’ll add a little humour to your holiday gift! The inspiration for this brand is to create candles that align with how you feel. With sayings like “Burn the Patriarchy” “I like your butt” “You’re such a babe” “Please Leave By Dark” and “New Year, New Mental Breakdown" there’s bound to be one that matches her vibe. These hand-poured soy candles are made with all-natural soy wax and come in beautifully recycled whiskey glasses. Just fucking take my word for it and get her one, k? 3) Ice roller — they instantly reduce all the puffiness and unwanted redness, boost circulation, help shrink the size of pores, and honestly just feel freakin’ amazing. I start every morning with an ice roll! Did I mention they’re super budget friendly? I got mine for like 16 bucks on Amazon, but if you’re looking for a more expensive one I’ve heard GREAT things about the “Hot Mess” by The Skinny Confidential. However I can’t give you my honest review because I’ve yet to try theirs for myself. Whatever one you choose I guarantee it’ll be a total game changer for her skin-care routine.
4) Fanny pack — every woman in your life needs one. Seriously, I don’t know anyone who wouldn’t benefit from one. Oh and if you think it’s just a trend, its not.. it’s here to stay. Wanting to support local? KZIP has some seriously cute styles. I own both the Lululemon’s “Everywhere Belt Bag” and KZIP’s fanny and personally I like KZIP’s better because it holds WAY more. They’re coming back in stock with their original black, a gorgeous khaki, and adding a new colour 👀 soon so keep your eyes peeled! PS take a browse on her website while you’re shopping because her scrunchies are also on sale right now and make the perfect stocking stuffer!
5) Puffer jacket — If I had a dime for every “Where did you get that jacket?!” I’ve gotten recently I’d probably have …a dime or two. But for real, I’ve received so many compliments on my puffer jacket and I really do love it. It’s super lightweight yet provides a lot of warmth, win-win! *Also currently on mega sale off so don’t sleep on it if you’ve got it sitting in your shopping cart.
6) Shark cordless vacuum — I know she thinks she needs the Dyson but I’m here to tell you she doesn’t. The Shark cordless vacuum is on sale right now for 219 at Costco! I’m obsessed. That is all. She will thank me later.
7) CBD bath bombs — We all know the gal in your life needs to slow down and take some time for herself. These bath bombs are the perfect opportunity to do so. They have 100mg of pure hemp CBD extract. If she is an active girly it’ll aid in muscle and body pain, and they have the added bonus of reducing anxiety, stress, and providing mental alertness & clarity.
8) Nespresso coffee machine — so many people ask me if my Nespresso is worth it.. I say abso-freakin-lutely. If she’s a coffee snob like me and wants to brew a great espresso without all the added work, this is for her. Just pop in a capsule, press the brew button, and you’ll get a nice, thick, creamy espresso topped with a thick layer of gorgeous crema. Brewing this kind of shot by hand would require quite a lot of work, all of which the Nespresso machine can do in a little under a minute. If she’s big into cappuccinos and lattes at Starbs, there are also machines like the Nespresso Lattissima which have a milk frother built right in. It’s definitely an investment, but if she’s buying an 8 dollar latte every day, you do the math.
I truly LOVE giving gifts so this was so fun for me & I could have kept going forever. BUT I narrowed it down to my 8 top favourites.
